Tammy even made a purple card that is soooo cute! I love the stamp sentiment 'I'm so happy for you'. It's really big and went so well with this card! I totally can't wait to dig in and get to work using these fabulous embellishments! The only problem....my bookin room is packed up at the moment. :0(

Tacky Tuesday Challenge #6!

Hey everyone!!

How are we doing?! Things are pretty fabulous over here! I was so kindly asked to be a part of the design team for this Tacky Tuesday Challenge #6 and ofcourse said yes!! (who wouldn't right?) The challenge is to make a card with a 'car' cut (from cricut cart or svg) and include the word 'roll' or 'wheel'. When thinking in my head what kind of card I wanted this to be I immediately knew I wanted it to be a 'man' card. Then I started picturing black and white with a neat looking car. And this is what I came up with!!:
It was actually REALLY hard for me to think of a unique saying that included 'roll' or 'wheel'. Then I found this vellum quote 'Oh, the places you'll go -Dr. Suess. How cute is that?? Thought it went together well.

I rounded the corners of my card with my fabulous Corner Chomper. I've had this piping trim for many years and came across it in my ribbon tote and immediately knew it would go so well! I glued it down on the inside top flap so just the piping would show from the front of the card.

I used my black Sharpie and a ruler to 'stitch' around my open stock paper after rounding the corners and adding two strip of black ribbon.

My car was cut at 4" from Wrap It Up cart on gray paper from Hippie Chic mini stack. I embossed it with my Cuttle Bug

I used the extra pieces of paper to accent the inside of the card and to cover the ribbon I glued down on the inside of the card.
OK, Phew! Did you get all of that?? I sure hope so! I hope you like the card. I am extremely honored that Ruthie asked me if I would be part of the team for Tacky Tuesday Challenge #6! Thanks soooo much Ruthie and to everyone who voted for my card in the previous challenge!! Don't forget to leave me a comment because I cherish each and every one of them....and become a follower of my blog....if you want to....no pressure....just sayin'!! ha ha ha!! Now go have fun and be sure to check out the other 2 oh so fabulous designers for this challenge!!

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #9--Entry

Hey everyone!!

How's your Sunday going?? Mine is going alright. I came across Birthday Sundaes Challenge #9 featuring My Pink Stamper stamp set as the prize! OMG!! I love, love, love...did I say love?...My Pink Stamper! Robyn is sooo fab! Anyways Ms. Rambler!!
The challenge is to make a birthday themed card and it must include 3 circles with some kind of birthday related sentiment. Soooooo, here is my entry!:

I inked the edges with purple then wrapped the ribbon (which I later took off and readjusted it!)

Then I tied a bow and used my mini glue dot to adhere it.
I used pop dots for the bear and the 3 little circles in the top left corner.

I cut fringe to give it a little more texture and added coordinating paper inside.

The stitching was done with blue glitter glue.
The little embellishments are from a 'birthday' kit someone gave me as a gift a while ago.

The ribbon I just wrapped around the left piece of paper, added the bow and glued a gemstone on.

I am linking this card to the Birthday Sundaes Challenge #9 so be sure to check out the design teams card...so cute!...and enter one yourself!! Robyn's stamps are a MUST HAVE!

Please feel free to leave a comment...maybe join my blog...just sayin'! and have a fabulous rest of your day!!

No more NSD Challenge entries but read on why!

I LOVE My Pink Stamper and wanted to play along with all of the challenges over the weekend...Robyn was even keeping it open until tonight! However, I had a new special little man come into my life! drumroll please....
Say HELLO to my gorgeous nephew! At this time he does not have a name yet! But I will update this as soon as he does. He is still in the hospital since he was just born yesterday, but hopefully coming home tonight.

So this is why I have not had a chance to enter My Pink Stampers NSD Challenges. I was able to get the first one in and started another, but then I had to come home and clean and sanitize everything. My son's birthday is tomorrow, he's going to be 3! I will try to get posted the cupcakes I'm going to make since the holders are a custom svg I designed.

Hope to talk to you soon and have some projects up!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, it's greatly appreciated! Now on to fold I think my 12th load of laundry for the day!!

NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY--Challenge #1--My Pink Stamper

OMG!! How is everyone?!! Having a blast I'm sure. I just got my almost 3yo to lay down for a nap so now I have a LOT of catching up to do on the challenges over at My Pink Stamper!

Here is CHALLENGE #1:

Anything with a cupcake! (for complete rules check HERE)
I have limited time, still don't like doing 'chinsy' projects, but my son will wake up eventually today! So I made a quick cupcake tag/notecard.
This cupcake is cut at 4.5" from the Birthday Bash cartridge on pg. 58.
I cut it twice so I would have a front and back. Solid paper is Coredinations card stock.

I didn't really like the leaves on the cherry so I cut them off!

LOVE my TweezerBee tweezers!! Used them to help glue on the spinkles.

The cherry and frosting were embossed in my pink Cuttlebug with the all-time
favorite folder...drumroll please...swiss dots!

The cupcake bottom I embossed with the tiny folder that has a zig zag...I knoooow...how
can I explain what I'm doing when I don't know the names of my tools! I just kept moving the plate up a little bit then running it through the Cuttlebug to get the 'cone' texture look...make sense? Me neither!
And here is the final product! I really hope you like it!!
Yes...I know...I didn't add any glitter glue or stitching! I will probably go back later and add some...he he he!

OK...now go have fun...enter something over at My Pink Stamper to win some FABULOUS prizes!
See you again soon with more entries!

Thank You Card

I made this card today with my brand new Peachy Keen Stamps!!!! Oh yeah!
Since this is my first time getting to play with these, I had a hard time at first cutting something to scale with the face. I eventually went on their website and read their directions for this stamp set! I cut out a bear that I made in Sure Cuts A Lot2 but after cutting it twice, and not liking the face on it, I put it in my son's project box and opted for the heart.
I punched the heart out with a Fiskars squeeze punch. The face is inked with Stampin' Ups brown ink pen.
The papers and card are punched with the EK Success border punch. The center of the flowers have silver glitter glue....ofcourse...have to have some kind of bling/glitter!
The various layers of paper (from my unlabeled stash) was inked along the edges with my Color Box inks (pink on the orange flower paper and green on the yellow dot paper)
I wrapped the center piece of paper with some coordinating ribbon, taped the ends,
inked the edges and popped it up ofcourse!
Funny thing about the inside...This is actually a card feature cut at 5" for a card challenge I entered, but it was too small. So bam! It worked perfectly for the inside of this card!! Love recycling!
Here is the side view so you can see the layers. I punched out the heart twice,
adhered the first one down then popped the stamped one on top of that.
I hope you like my card! Thank you VERY much for stopping by!
