Peachy Keen Challenge Entry!!

Hey everyone!!

Peachy Keen Stamps has a fun challenge going on until 9/1. Your project must include an animal with a Peachy Keen face. Well a while ago I was fortunate enough to win a set of Peachy Keen stamps from a Tacky Tuesday Challenge at The Scrapbooking Queen I entered!!

So I altered this little tin I found at Joanns on clearance for .50 cents. A lady at my work makes gorgeous flower hair clips and she made me a purple one (my uber fav color!) so I am making this tin for her and she loves turtles!

After I stamped it I went over the outline with my black Sharpie, colored in the eyes and tongue with my Stampin' Up markers.
I popped the circles after punching them out with my Stampin' Up circle punch
I love flowers and added all different ones that I pieced together. Some are resin, paper, a crochet one I made and some charms. I later added a butterfly (ofcourse!) that's not in the pic.
I glued them with my hot glue gun. The rhinestone is actually a clear button that has a stone in the middle. Picked up a whole jar of different buttons at a garage sale a long time ago for $1!!!
I added a bow around his neck and little cuts of grass. All were cut using Create A Critter (my uber fav cart!). Now go check out the challenge and get your scrap on!!

Thanks for looking and leaving a comment...cause I know you will...ok, I hope you will! he he he

Thanks!!! xoxo Charity

Cooking With Cricut #40 Challenge!

Hey everyone!!

Here is my entry for Cooking With Cricut #40 Challenge! The rules were to make a project that had a cow on it in honor of June being national dairy month. If you didn't have a cow cut then you could make a project with black and white and a little bit of a color of your choice. So here is my card!!
 "feeling sick? milk it"

Bessy..yes, I named her! was cut from Create A Critter cart.
I LOVE this cart, it is definately my go to.
I pieced her together with my fab ATG gun and Zig 2-way pen.
Ofcourse I had to pop her up!
The sentiment was NOT cut with Just Because Cards cart...it was written!!
I absolutely LOVE these Cri-Kits pens. They are so incredible! You can get them here.
They come with the housing and you just put it in your Cricut in place of your blade housing!
How easy is that??!!
Sorry it's hard to see but was trying to get a pic of it in action!
Here is the finished piece. I then just cut it out by hand with scissors.

I purchased these little resin flowers on Ebay and put one in her 'hair'....or ear...hmmm.
I used my Stampin-Up punch on the sentiment so I could tie the charm onto it.
Look at this gorgeous charm!! They are only $2!! Holy cow! hahaha...unintentional pun! hehehe
You can get the handmade charm and stick pins here.
Now I have a card for when someone is not feeling good, they get a card AND gift in one!!!
"feeling sick? milk it"
Ofcourse I had to add some bling since I don't have a flower or ribbon, omg something must be wrong with me!! I put little rhinestones at the bottom. I hope you like my card, now go check out the other fabulous entries and Design Team designs over at CWC #40!

Have a safe and fab July 4th!
