Challenge #123 - Christmas 2012

LM #123 'Christmas 2012'

Thank you for joining us last week!! We loved seeing everyone's LO's for our 'Something old Something new' challenge! There were some really creative LO's!!

This week we have a brand new challenge for you! It's called

 'Christmas 2012'

So we would love to see what you did this Christmas!

I took my son on Mr Jingling's Express! I really wanted to go on Polar Express, however, I waited too long and missed the boat on that! All the tickets were sold out!! :(  To top it off, my son had a fever the whole 3 hour train ride and was miserable. It was really hard for him to muster up a smile, but he appeased me and played along 'for mommy'!!

And yes, I spelled Jingling's wrong on the page! I JUST realized this while typing up my blog page!! Oh well! I'll go in and fix it later. I made my page with the My Memories sweet software. Check out the link on our Lasting Memories Blog for more information on the software.

NOW!! GO CHECK OUT THE OTHER DT'S AND GET SOME PAGES DONE!!!!

Winter's In The Air Blog Hop!!

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but these projects are so delightful!

Welcome to the ‘Winter’s In The Air’ blog hop.

We have all made projects to warm your heart, and potentially decorate your home, during these snowy months.

I made this card without a sentiment so I could use it for whatever may come up! I cannot take credit for painting him :( The bear is actually one of those wooden, already painted bears you would get at the craft store! I just traced him and fussy cut a shadow so he would stand out against my background paper and inked the edges. The white 'snow' is actually glitter paper, just can't tel from the pic.

If you comment on everyone’s post you will be entered to win this from Melanie.  It includes paper, stickers, metal embellies, adhesive, mists, stencils, a journal and more.  Be sure to check back on Tuesday, Jan 22 to see who won.

Here is the line up for today.

Have a great weekend and thanks for hopping with us.

Hahaha!! I love this pic of him! He's such a ham and thought this would be perfect! Now go get some inspiration from the other fabulous DT's!! Challenge ends Saturday so hurry and get scrapping! Make a layout inspired by a book and enter our challenge!

Don't forget ..
Monday - Monday Mojo (see all the DT Talent!)
Wednesday - Winner of our Month In Review Challenge and a new Month In Review challenge starts!

Bling in the New Year Hop!!!!

Hello out there!!! Everyone getting settled back into 'normal' life, or not-so-normal?!! You should've come here from Suzanne who also is our Hop Sponsor!! Did you see her uber fabulous Grand Prize?!!

HOLY COW LOOK AT THAT YUMMINESS!!

All you have to do is hop along, like the blog and leave comment! Woo Hoo Easy Peasy!!

This blog is to Bling in the New Year and I saw on Pinterest (i know i know, crazily addicting!) and wanted to incorporate this. You take a jar, bling and some glitter:

Spread craft glue all over the jar. Found out the hard way to not put it on too thick or your rhinestone will glob and run down the side!!

Add rhinestones and some glitter:

You can decorate the lid (i put mine off to the side for now).
Now write your note for the New Year! JaKobe claims his note pictured below says he loves me!
I wrote on the other side of the 2"x 2" paper and said I had fun making this jar with him and dated it.

We will add notes throughout the year, wishes, good things that happen, funny things he says, anything we may want to remember and then open the jar next new years and read them!! This is a super fun project for your toddler and something you can cherish forever! I plan to take all of the notes out next year and make a Year in Review scrapbook page with all of the notes!!

Now your next stop is the uber creative ROBIN!!!

And don't forget to like pages and leave comments to win Suzanne's fantastic prize!! In case you get lost along the way, here's the line up;
